Cooking with Owen
Owen is quite the kitchen helper. We have found that if he actually helps with making his dinner, he is more likely to eat it. Above he is putting on the finishing touches of his chicken quesadilla. It is really weird...he ate most of his quesadilla this night, but if you try to offer him left overs the next day, he wants nothing to do with it!
Robbins Farm Park
We had a playdate with Danya at Robbins Farm Park. Owen always has a great time at this playground because there is so much to do!
The boys had a good time playing and the older they get, the more they actually play with each other. A lot of times it's one following the other, but they are totally aware of what the other is up to.
Owen + Danya = Mommy. They had a lot of fun riding the titter totter together.

Baking Buddy
Owen loves to help out in the kitchen. I don't have to ask twice when I invite him to make cookies with me. He enjoys pouring the measuring cups into the mixing bowl, and lately it's been a fun game to count out the number of cups as we go.
This was just priceless. Owen didn't think to use his fingers to get at the cookie dough, he did everything he could to get his tongue on that beater!

Potty
It's probably a good thing this photo is blurry...I hope this doesn't embarrass Owen when he's bigger. BUT this accurately shows the love hate relationship Owen has with the potty right now. He's into certain aspects of going potty...using toilet paper and flushing, but actually sitting on the potty is a struggle. His interest seems to be there, but I'm not sure how much I should push him. Right now we are just letting him go at his own speed.
