Sled Riding

Daddy took Owen for a little sleding fun at Hayden hill.

Shovel Time

We haven't gotten a lot of snow yet this winter, but the nice dusting that we just got was lots of fun for Owen to get out and shovel.

Computer Time

We've set up an older laptop in our kitchen for Owen to use when the mood strikes. He has been enjoying the learning site starfall.com ever since Grandma Kuder turned us on to it. Owen had gotten good at navigating and using the mouse all by himself. I love that he is learning phonics and enjoying the computer.

Winter Gala

Daycare had a Winter Gala night where the kids put on a little show of songs and dance. Owen was so cute and bursting with pride as he sang along with his class.

Hot Wheels!

The boys have really been enjoying the new Hot Wheels toys they got for Christmas. There is no need to leave Owen's room with all that fun!

Getting Dressed

Sometimes getting Owen dressed can be a battle. If it were up to him, he'd never take off his pajamas. But since pajama days rarely happen at daycare, we must wrestle him into his clothes. He has started to learn to get himself dressed which is nice. There is still always the struggle to find him something he wants to wear (can not be jeans, or any pants that have buttons or snaps). But we are getting closer to independance.

A Superhero Party

Owen's school friend, Maddox, had a superhero party where all the boys got dressed up as their favorite super hero. Owen, of course, was Spiderman.

And all the boys displayed their amazing "super powers".

Dominos

Owen got a set of Dominos for Christmas and he has been enjoying playing. Our version is a really simple one where the tiles are passed out and each person takes a turn playing one. Owen is learning about rules, strategy and accepting that he doesn't always win.

Go Buckeyes!

I picked up a Buckeye jesery for Owen when we were in Cleveland and he was thrilled to wear it and help cheer on the team with me in their bowl game.
