Lexington has a tiny (and I mean really tiny) parade through town on Memorial Day and we went to watch. We kept telling Owen there will be a fire truck in the parade, but unfortunately that was not true. The best we got was some old men dressed as Minutemen and the high school marching band.
There were some tributes and speeches on the Battle Green that we hung around to check out. The best part was when a fire truck went by on a real call with sirens and lights flashing. Owen was pretty darn excited and mommy and daddy didn't look like big liars about getting to see a fire truck!
