Today we went to a local farm to get our Halloween pumpkins. Owen knew what pumpkins were this year, so this was so much fun.
We just need to work on what makes a good pumpkin to pick out. If it were up to him we would have the ugliest, misshapen one possible.
But in the end Owen was thrilled with the whole experience of getting pumpkins.
The best part for Daddy was the challenge of carrying all our selections for ten yards. If he managed this without dropping any then they were ours for $20 bucks. Of course Daddy was thrilled with his achievement, but decided after the fact that he should have tried to carry even more. Oh well...next year!
Then our trip was topped off with a fun hayride around the farm. Owen loves tractor rides, so this was a highlight.
